In 1992 Parenting Magazine led a special report on Race, Rage & Family: What do we tell the children?

Wingspan CEO, Priscilla Dames was part of that project. Now, 27 years later, she, in partnership with Lea Murray, CEO of Collaborising, LLC are revisiting that report.  They’re returning to those same families to ask the parents, "Did those strategies work?" And asking the children, "In lieu of today’s Race, Rage & Family, what do you tell your children?"

Reporters interviewed six families to take a deep look into how parents responded to the outcries of injustices in America following the Rodney King beating by police.  The special edition mirrored the diversity in America. It included Black, White, Asian and Hispanic families.
